Il siciliano nelle scuole, un emigrato cattolicese commenta la notizia
Anthony Avola, presidente della Confederazione Siciliani del Nordamerica Canada e Usa, il prossimo 28 maggio sarà a Cattolica Eraclea, suo paese natio, per ricevere un riconoscimento per il suo lavoro e impegno nella comunità.
Ecco il suo commento, riguardo l’introduzione tra le materie scolastiche nelle scuole elementari, medie e superiori, della lingua siciliana.
«Il siciliano è una lingua vera e propria, non un dialetto. Ho comprato il vocabolario quando ero in Sicilia. L’idea di insegnare il siciliano nelle scuole è veramente molto buona e andrebbe ad arricchire la cultura siciliana. Se una persona sa la lingua conosce la cultura. Nella lingua siciliana ci sono tante parole greche e arabe. Basta che non si dimentichi la lingua nazionale, quella italiana». E Avola aggiunge che non è poi così tanto difficile imparare il dialetto siciliano. «Come in ogni cosa, basta studiarlo».
«Non tutti i siciliani riescono a parlare e scrivere la lingua siciliana – ha continuato Avola che è anche parrucchiere a livello internazionale e vicepresidente dell’Associazione dei Carabinieri – Da un paese all’altro i dialetti variano a seconda anche dalle influenze e dalle conquiste. L’uomo senza cultura non può capire il presente e il futuro»
Sono d’accordo, l’unica cosa buona che ha fatto questo governo. Il siciliano è la lingua del popolo siciliano fa parte della nostra cultura e non è affatto rozza, anzi Dante leggendo le poesie siciliane disse che era uno dei dialetti più belli d’italia..
